No gift can bring more joy to a person’s life than the gift of music. Whether you’re an adult who has always had a dream of learning to play piano, or a parent interested in getting your child started on their musical journey, piano lessons with the right teacher can set the stage for a lifetime of enjoyment.

 

The benefits of working with a private music teacher are clear as most musicians will tell you, the investment you make in your training is completely worth it when you start seeing improvements.

 

So… How Much Are Piano Lessons? $25 for a 30-minute lesson once a week.

For now, I wish to only accept students within a 5 mile radius of the center of Connersville, Indiana.

For now, I will have to travel to the student to give the private lessons in the comforts of their own home.

I have had some experience of teaching piano lessons in the past.

My students have seen improvements in their playing ablility, their knowledge of music theory, and playing technique.

I will require payment in advance, preferably on a month-to-month basis if possible.

In the event that the student will need to cancel a lesson, I will require a 24-hour notice in order for the student to be eligible for a reschedule, so knowing this beforehand will help you avoid paying for lessons you can’t attend!

So… What about books, materials, or incidental costs? I as the teacher should be able to provide the student with all printed materials such as sheet music, worksheets, etc. The student may wish to be equipped with paper, a journal, a pen &/or pencil for taking notes. I will most likely be carrying paper, and pens &/or pencils for taking notes also.

I can provide a metronome to keep time with. It is recommended that the student also should invest in their own decent metronome.

I can also provide a keyboard to be used during the lesson. But it is HIGHLY recommended that the student have their own piano or keyboard to practice on through the week as my keyboard will be going back home with me and will NOT be left with the student.
